It sounds like the beginning of an infection. I would also ask, have you gotten a headache, backache, fever, or chills. That is a sign of a more serious condition, cat scratch disease (cat scratch fever). Bacitracin should help if it is becoming infected. If you have the other symptoms, go to your doctor ASAP. If not, cleaning, disinfecting, and making sure a clean bandage on the scratch, and you will be fine in no time. Just be gentle with your new kitten, and take her to get shots. Good luck.
