Is this just a form of punishment (spanking) or child abuse?

It is mental and emotional abuse it sounds like, but does this happen at other times is what I am wondering. Some of it is borderline physical abuse. Many agencies consider abuse physical if it leaves a mark. I think you know if it is abuse. I think it is. The old saying goes if you have to ask then it probably is. Trust what you believe and if you feel threatened then call someone trustworthy to confide in.
