Why do orthodox eastern churches call to the roman catholics a heretic church?

just because they are separated of them? well I would like to know that, because I was reading a website and a book about orthodox church and they say categorize the roman catholicism as a heretic church, so I think we can't be one church if these ideas are part of the orthodox churches
