I'm an assitant coach with two other coaches. There both very young around 20 to 25 years of age. One of them is engaged and today he brought his fiancee to practice she was not introduced of course as co-workers we know she was the fiancee. But his behavior startled me. I am an AA heretic looking for deprogramming, where should I go/what should I do?

I told many of my AA "friends" as well as my sponsor that I have decided to leave the "program" as I find it ineffective and cult-like. Help!! Am I suffering anxiety?

I have had anxiety now for 2 years. I am 21 years old. Actually right now, while I'm writing this, I feel like I can't breathe and I feel like I have something lodged in my throat. Normally I would take off to the ER right away, get poked with a bunch of needles, have a urine test done, etc. Just in the end to hear the doctor tell me once again "sweetie, this is all due to anxiety". I hate those words, because I feel like there is still something more that's wrong with me. But I'm trying to teach myself that everything will be okay! I won't die! And if I do, well... I hope I'm headed for Heaven rather than the nasty place we all call Hell. Some of MY symptoms from anxiety include: shortness or breath, racing heart, stomach pain, headaches, numbness and tingling, tightness in the chest area, "swelling" of the throat and dizziness/faint feelings. Who wouldve thought that anxiety could cause such problems? I never would have guessed it! My first year dealing with anxiety, I managed to rack up $10,000 worth of doctor bills and I didn't even have a job at the time!!! Thank the Lord I was able to apply for assistance. They paid every penny for me. Praise God! I would have been in a deeper hole than I already am in. And still, here I sit, feeling my throat for any "bumps" or "painful spots". Mosquito bite swollen and painful?

Lump on my dogs upper front leg?

My dog has suddenly developed an odd looking lump on the top of her front right leg. It's odd because it actually looks like a piece of sweetcorn stuck to her. However it is firmly attached to her leg and around the area it is very hard. It doesn't seem to bother her. I haven't seen her lick it or bite it or wine about it so Im not terribly worried. It is ok for a first effort, but you must learn how to write better. Try reading it out loud into a recorder in order to hear the rhythm, the pace, and you will probably hear where you need to improve your style. It does not quite get choppy, but it stumbles. The grammer needs to be improved. EX: (at the bottom) "This time a man's voice but this did not make her relax, she knew that voice." If you look at the sentence, it is not a proper sentence at all. I realize writers can put in improper sentences, but this is not an example of that. Your style has gone from personal to romantic to objective story. Pick one and stick with it. Read it aloud and record it, or have someone else read it aloud. You will hear where you need to rewrite. Many new writers have a few voices in their work, just as learning to sing, you will have a few voices come out, all weaved together, just as each part of your personality does a version. That is normal, until you pick one. Write the story from each style and voice, and you may be surprised that the talented "voice/style" in your may not be your favorite. LUMP UNDER MY DOGS SKIN, AND VOMITTING?

This weekend I found a soft lump , probably the size of a lime. She had been vomiting for a day or two also, I first found it by her ribs (where later saw a red irritated spot) then not even an hour later It had moved up to under her chin then up to her check, up to under eye and It went back to under her chin and it set there for a couple of hours but finally last night the lump disappeared. She's acting normal now and she's eating, "pooping" and peeing just fine, she hasn't thrown up at all. I don't have much money right now so I don't want to take her to the vet unless I have to. Strange lump :/ need advice on what to do :/?

Guilt and Anger - my dog died after getting neutered?

My dog was 12 yrs old. I brought him in to get him groomed(which is attached to vets)before I collected him they asked me to go in and see the vet. She said he was in pain and 'had' to have the operation to get neutered. He had lumps around his anus which bled sometimes or he scraped his bum along the ground. I knew that sometimes he was in pain and this was on my mind to bring him in. When she said this the lump in my throat. But I felt she was the vet and she knew best. So I said id think it over. Thing is I asked all my family n they were not really interested(family split up) although my dad said to leave him, but dad was sometimes old school mean so didnt really listen to him. I decided to go with it, they assured me they'd be watching him the whole time on a drip giving him oxygen etc..this didnt happen...My instingt told me he wasnt able for such an op, wasnt being walked enough and too old, however i felt id no1 to ask and felt silly asking people not everyone values animals(how v silly of me and this makes me so mad with myself) the night before the op i still wasnt sure - i told dad he was gonna decide when he came home from the pub - but unfortuately my brother turned up drunk banging on the door - he wasnt allowed in the house as he was too abusive etc..he wrapped on the door for hours until eventually we had to let him in - there was a row, my dog went into my bed for safety and peace - he trusted me. the next morning after v little sleep - i ordered my brother to bring the dog in for his app with the vet. I reluctantly went to work - v nervous ringing my brother to say im not sure about this but at like 10am that morning - they called me to say he was dead!!!!! I fel like the ground had been removed from underneath me - the worst thing that ever happened to me and iv had alot of bad things happen to me but i loved this dog to bits. he was walking and still eating he may have been in pain sometimes but no need to kill him. WHY DID THE VET HAVE TO REMOVE HIS TESTICLES SHOULD SHE NOT HAVE KNOW HE WAS TOO OLD FOR THIS! HE WAS STILL FRESHLY GROOMED - I COULDNT BELIEVE HE WAS LIFELESS - WHY DIDNT THEY JUST TAKE OUT THE LUMPS N LET HIM LIVE A BIT MORE??? Why am I so tired after a minor operation?

I had a tummy tuck with double hernia and muscle repair 11 months ago. I unfortunately had a bad bleed which resulted in me being rushed back to theatre for an emergency operation to fix it. As my surgeon had to go in quickly it left me with lumps on both ends of my scar. It took me 5 months to feel normal again, even the slightest thing made me tired for ages. I went back to my surgeon 4 days ago and under local he corrected the lumps and the incision was extended by about 2 inches either side.. As the local wore off the incisions became quite painful and I've become totally exhausted ever since. I feel tired all day and although I'm in pain from the surgery its obviously nowhere near as bad as last time and I didn't even have a general. i shaved last night and today i noticed my left armpit was sore. i looked at it and i saw a pretty decent size lump on there. my sister sometimes gets cysts on hers but i never had one. do you think this could possibly be one? or something else

For the past like 2 weeks im a virgin.I've thrown up only when I wake up really early. I sleep a lot and I eat a lot of protien and veggies and etc. I got summer school m- thursday. I've got a strange, hard and movable lump on my collar bone, please help so WORRIED!?

Hi im 14 and about 3 - 4 days ago i realised a small bone like lump which can be moved just bellow my collar bone which can only be felt and seen if i push the muscle up so that the lump is laying on or above my collard bone, please, if somebody could tell me what it is or maybe even just slight clue to what it is, and if it's something to be worried about or not, the lump hasn't caused any pain but i only realised it when i was led in bed and it felt like something was scratching my collard bone so when i put my hand over it to feel it there was a small lump probably about 3/4 of the size of a 5 pence coin, and i have thought about the possibility of cancer, as i don't know much about cancer could someone please tell me if sometypes are curable or not it would be allot of help, thanks...

There's like a lump on the back of my neck and it's kind of behind and a little under my left ear. I know it's not a bruise because it doesn't hurt and it's not a pimple because it's under my skin. I'm really worried cuz like a week before i fell on the right side of my head and my neck made a really sick sound, but i still felt okay. 8hours is no where near enough sleep. It's normal for a overtired baby to nap for 30 minutes then wake up. Also when they are over tired they wake with the startled sleep patteren. Try taking him for a walk bump his crib, drive in the car, anything to get him to sleep during the day!!!!!!! I have been having alot of body pain... it sucks! I had been told I had a mild case of carpal tunnel... that was a few years back.. I was homeless for 2 weeks and I need advice about how to recover?

I was recently homeless for 2 weeks and during this time I disciplined myself to eat as little as possible and I rationed my food to last me throughout the day. I slept on a park bench and sometimes on a sidewalk. Now I find myself not being able to eat as I used to. No matter how much I try to force myself to eat I just cant get myself to swallow food. Why can't I speak after vocal rest? ?

There was one day when I had a slight sore throat. I have been having vocal practices, and I disregarded my sore throat and went for vocal practice with my friends and we got high, singing and occassional shouting for about 3 hours. After the practice, I realised that I had lost my voice. It didn't really hurt, but just that my voice couldn't come out much. For the next 5 days, I decided to give my voice a rest, talking only when needed. Initially, my throat didn't hurt, but at the 4th or 5th day, it starts to hurt slightly and my voice turns hoarse and still couldn't really speak up. So at the 5th day, I decided to see the doctor as I was afraid of vocal nodules. The doctor said that it was just vocal cords swallon due to singing with a sore throat. He told me to have vocal rest for 2 days and gave me some anti inflammatory medicine. I have already not spoken a word for the past 3 days, but today, when I tried to speak, my voice still seems to have some difficulty coming out. The voice isn't hoarse anymore, but when I try to speak my normal volume, my throat will hurt slightly. When my vocals aren't moving, it feels perfectly fine. I am gonna take a few more days vocal rest. Does anyone know what's wrong with my vocals? Why does it feel so difficult speaking now? I doubt it's vocal nodules as there isn't any lump in my throat. Is there anyway to speed my recovery? I hope I didn't do some inrepairable damage to my vocals. Can somebody help me please, my voice is very important to me. Thanks in advance.

19 years old & Im scared of a breast lump?

Are These cysts on my breast?

For about the last three years I've had pimple like bumps along my breast, and the area between my breast. They do not cause me pain, but me thinking I could get rid of them tried to pop them. Didn't work entirely. Some white discharge came out of 1 along with what seemed like a batch of hairs. And there are three along the side of my right breast that go in a straight line that were really tiny and inactive, staying the same size for over a year and then increasing to about pea size and the suddenly darkening the deflating. One Is comepletly gone with the only evidence of it being there is the discoloration. well Not really. Its there, but its flat. Which is how they started I think. I don't think they are tumors, They aren't that deep into the skin, not even 2 inches. Then Again wouldn't know the typical symptoms of tumors. I would ask my doctor about it, but i believe shes incompetent, plus I really don't feel comfortable exposing myself to anyone... Most of them, whatever they are, don't seem to have heads, and Like I said. They've been there for a really long time. Strange lump in throat?

Last year I noticed a lump on my neck underneath my jaw bone while I was sick. Someone said it was probably just a very swollen gland so I didn't worry about it. It never actually went away, but recently it has grown a lot larger and is very visible. It's slightly firm to the touch and there is no pain. Any ideas as to what this is or how serious it could be?

My rat likes to nip my fingers, help!?

About a week and a half ago I brought home 2 female rats and they are adorable as can be. I am trying to handle them more now that they have gotten comfortable with their cage and everything. I will put my hand in the cage and the peach colored one will come out of her house sniffing. Once I thought she was going to climb onto my hand because she was sniffing it and had 2 paws on it but then she pulled back and bit me. She didn't bite really hard but hard enough to startle me. The black one has never nipped and just seems scared. You kind of have to chase them down in their cage to handle them. The peach one is the only one that will come to you but now I'm afraid she is just going to bite me. She has nipped me twice now. We have a toddler and I don't want her nipping at him too. Does anyone know of anything I can do to stop her from nipping and help with getting them comfortable enough to be held and played with? I don't think I did anything wrong when she nipped me, I didn't pursue her, she came to me and I made no swift actions to picking her up or anything. Please help! I want to be able to enjoy our new little furry family members not fear them nipping at me or possibly even biting me or my son or fiance.

Expert please!! Breast pain!! severe!?

Ok so im really freaking out!! i'll start off by saying that im 25 years old and in great health. However I have been noticing the past month or two that my right breast has beed a little soar. I didnt pay any attention to it because i just figured it was all hormonal and nothing to worry about. However within the past week i started to realize that the pain was getting a little worse. Last night i was laying in bed and my husband leand over on me to kiss me goodnight and when he pressed against my right breast a horrible pain shot through my right breast it hurt so bad i screamed!! Then as i was cupping it I felt a lump on the outside next to where my armpit is!! I cant really tell the texture of the lump but it really hurts to touch!! Also I did breastfeed my son @ years ago but i only nursed for 4 months bcause i wasnt producing enough milk. I also noticed that the past couple of months that I had milk coming out still!! Its not alot of milk just a tiny bit! Then today i was thinking that when im running on the treadmill (quite frequently) i put my ipod on and with no pockets i just tuck my ipod in my bra on top of my right breast! Could this have givin me cancer?!! Im really scared!! I know its rare for someone my age to get it but im still freaking out i have no history of breast cancer in my family. Now im having really strange tingling on my nipple and its really making me crazy! I cant even lay on my right side and it burns when i try to even pick up my arm to wash my hair! It even hurts to walk so i have to wear two push up bras just to keep them from moving while i walk! My mom does have issues with cysts in both of her breasts and she has even had biopsys on them which thank god were negative! I have had ovarion cysts before. I think she's emotionally distancing herself from you. She's doing it to the point that she's believing that she really don't know you. My goodness you've put your job before your wife. Help. I think I have cancer.?

I am 16. At the beginning of the year, my neck hurt really, really bad. The front of it was painful when I looked up or moved fast. It felt like a lot of little lumps that felt kind of like hard jello? After 3 day it went away and a month or 2 later I noticed that there were 2 lumps like that next to my lymph nodes. They haven't gone away and they only hurt when you press hard on them. I am really scared, I don't want to go to the doctor... there are too many good things in my life right now. you don't say where you are in the world. But in the uk i would report your concerns to the police as has been said before. I'd imagine they may then liase with ohter childcare organsiations who may investigate to see what action including possible extra support for the mum is needed. I was homeless for 2 weeks and I need advice about how to recover?

I was recently homeless for 2 weeks and during this time I disciplined myself to eat as little as possible and I rationed my food to last me throughout the day. I slept on a park bench and sometimes on a sidewalk. Now I find myself not being able to eat as I used to. No matter how much I try to force myself to eat I just cant get myself to swallow food. I've got a strange, hard and movable lump on my collar bone, please help so WORRIED!?

Hi im 14 and about 3 - 4 days ago i realised a small bone like lump which can be moved just bellow my collar bone which can only be felt and seen if i push the muscle up so that the lump is laying on or above my collard bone, please, if somebody could tell me what it is or maybe even just slight clue to what it is, and if it's something to be worried about or not, the lump hasn't caused any pain but i only realised it when i was led in bed and it felt like something was scratching my collard bone so when i put my hand over it to feel it there was a small lump probably about 3/4 of the size of a 5 pence coin, and i have thought about the possibility of cancer, as i don't know much about cancer could someone please tell me if sometypes are curable or not it would be allot of help, thanks...
