Why do stupid people flock to religion?

Because we're smart enough to realize that our Christian faith makes more sense than any of that evidential nonsense that you and other non-believers take for fact. You need to exercise your intelligence beyond the concrete "evidence" and "fact". As a mental health professional with over two decades experience, now retired, I learned LONG ago that believing in God, AND ACTING ON THAT BELIEF, is a WHOLE LOT SMARTER, a much higher level of cognitive functioning, than just relying on "data", "evidence", and "the facts". You might even remember that old television series, later made into a movie, "Dragnet", starring two or more of America's funniest commedians at the time, where the funniest and most remembered words of the movie that they repeat as a lead-in or advertisement for the stupidity of the movie, are, "Just the facts, Ma'am." Get above the basement level of thinking, and then you can believe in Christ, and ACT on it. God Bless you.
